What is the Carnival in the Netherlands 2022 all about?

The Carnival of the Netherlands is a unique festival that breaks the traditional norms of revelries. At this festival, the two most important things are as follows:

·        Suspension of Social Norms – This means the normal rules that you see on a daily basis will not be followed as the mayor himself will give the key of the city to someone who gets nominated for the 3 days of the festival.

·        Prince Carnival – This is the person who will get the keys to the festival.

·        Role Reversal – Almost everyone will get dressed in ecstatic outfits for these three days
