Experience the beauty of Keukenhof flower show

Tulips from Holland are famous all around the world. If you also want to see the Dutch tulip fields in bloom, you should visit Holland in April and May. This is the clone period in which the biggest flower park in the world, Keukenhof, opens its door in the name of Keukunhof flower show.

Basically Keukenhof is a park where more than 7 million flowers bulbs are planted every year. It is located near Lisse, which is an easy day trip from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport and other cities of Holland. Gardens and four pavilions over here show a fantastic collection of flowers like: tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and many other flowers. When you visit this place, you will be overwhelmed by a spectacle of colors and perfumed fragrance.

Basically this place claims to be the world’s largest flower park. Each year, it is open only two months in spring each year to show off the best of Dutch tulips, crocuses, narcissus (daffodils), and other bulb flowers. It is very well know with visitors of all age groups – from families with small children to tour groups pensioners that tend to recall that the park was better on a most memorable visit x years ago. If we talk about the variety of flowers and colors at Keukenhof, they are overwhelming – around 7 million flower bulbs are planted in this famous 32-ha (80-acre) garden every year. The Dutch, of course, know a thing or two about tulips – using a mix early, regular and late flowering bulbs, tulips are usually seen for most of the two-month season. Crocuses, narcissus (daffodils), and hyacinths are more prevalent early in the season when Japanese cherry blossoms can also be seen.
